Common name: Subwassertang, Loma Fern, Lomariopsis lineata, or Susswassertang.
Scientific name: It is not yet recognized as a distinct species, so technically, it has no scientific name although some consider it to be Lomariopsis lineata.
Native area: South East Asia
Size: Basically unlimited, it spreads like moss.
Lighting: No special lighting is needed, I have an LED. Moderate, high, and low lighting will all be tolerated.
Tank size: Any tank, but works great for nano tanks due to its size.
Growth rate: Moderate to slow.
Appearance: It is like a tape looking moss but is actually a fern.
Fertilizer: None needed, but it may grow faster with liquid fertilizers. It takes its nutrients from the water column.
