Mollies are one of the most increasingly popular live bearer and it is very simple to take care of. I recommend at least a 20 gallon, and make sure you have extra tanks for when they start breeding if you aren't planning on selling all of them. They appreciate hard water or water with salt added, to create a brackish environment. They will eat about anything, but they need to be watched closely to make sure they are all getting enough to eat. Determining the gender of the mollies is relatively simple, just check if the bottom fin by the anus is triangular shaped. If it is, then it is a female fish. I add crushed coral into my tanks to make the water harder and I personally don't feel like these fish need to live in a planted aquarium, however the fry benefit from a fast growing plant like guppy grass or hornwort. In mollies, watch the fry for spinal deformities or other life altering genetic problems. If the fish has a deformity, euthanize the affected fish. When getting your mollies, only select healthy fish from a reputable breeder. When quarantining, treating the fish with a broad spectrum medication like general cure is beneficial. Hope you like my Molly care guide!!

Great guide, and I will pin it, but when sexing them aren't the females the ones with the triangular anal fin and the males the ones with the twig shaped anal fin?
